The owner is a wonderful individual and the accomodations are very comfortable. The location||is extremely convenient to downtown San Carlos and close proximity to Menlo Park and Burlingame. Very well run operation.

One of the best values in hotels in the city. A small hotel [15 rooms] with very spacious and clean rooms. Service top of the line. Very safe with a gate and 24hr guard. They welcome your arrival with a no-charge a drink. Be sure to ask if you can get a drink of your choice in case you don't want rum.

Wonderful little gem! This simple, clean, well run little motel just off the main street traffic was a life saver for me last week. The manager couldn't have been nicer as she worked to accommodate my crazy schedule - was going down to the VA Hospital in Palo Alto every day. I'd happily stay there again, and will if we end up having to go back to the VA again. Many thanks to everyone at the San Carlos Inn you made my trip much less stressful!!
